📦 Returns & Refunds Policy: [Vaulted Memorabilia]
1. The "Peace of Mind" Return Period
In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your item for a full refund.
- Notification: You must inform us of your intent to return the item via vaultedmemorabilia5@gmail.com within this 14-day window.
- Return Window: Once notified, you have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
2. Condition & Integrity (The "Collector's Standard")
Because the value of memorabilia is tied to its pristine condition and accompanying documentation, returns are subject to the following:
- Tamper-Evident Tags: If the item was shipped with a branded tamper-evident tag or security seal, this must remain intact. Removal of the tag constitutes acceptance of the item and voids the right to a "change of mind" return.
- Documentation: All original Certificates of Authenticity (COA), grading cards, and specialized packaging must be returned. Loss of the COA reduces the item's value significantly; we reserve the right to deduct the cost of re-authentication (up to 50% of the value) if the COA is missing.
- Handling: Items must be returned in the exact condition received. Any signs of wear, framing attempts, or damage to the signature will result in a rejected return or a significant deduction in the refund amount.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Please note that the following are exempt from the 14-day return rule:
- Custom Commissions: Items signed specifically to a customer’s name (e.g., "To John, Best Wishes").
- Bespoke Framing: If you have requested a custom framing service for the item, the cost of the framing and the labour is non-refundable.
4. Return Shipping & Insurance
- Responsibility: The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly described.
- Required Service: Due to the high value and irreplaceable nature of our items, returns must be sent via a tracked, "signature required," and fully insured service (e.g., Royal Mail Special Delivery).
- Liability: We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
5. Authentication Disputes
We stand behind every signature. If a reputable third-party authenticator (Aftal, UACC or OnlineCOA) deems an item non-authentic, we will provide a 100% refund including all shipping costs.
